As Vice-President, Public Affairs at NATIONAL, Yash provides strategic advice and counsel to clients while guiding them through the intricacies of government. As an effective and impactful communicator, Yash specializes in strategic communications, advocacy, stakeholder engagement and issues management.

Yash has a deep understanding of the government decision-making process at all three levels, having represented a diverse list of innovative and industry-leading clients at Parliament Hill, Queen’s Park, and Toronto City Hall. Having several years of experience in developing and executing targeted communications, public affairs and government relations strategies, Yash can simplify and communicate complex issues to key stakeholders on behalf of his clients.

Today, Yash applies his expertise to support clients in the energy, health, and tech sectors, managing all aspects of client service from planning to execution. Yash has played an integral part in NATIONAL's work within the healthcare space, having worked with clients in biomanufacturing, clinical stage research, life sciences, seniors care, pharmaceuticals and more.

Prior to joining NATIONAL, Yash spent four years at a Toronto-based government relations firm, where he focused on a variety of sectors including advanced manufacturing, education, environment, health, tech, non-profit and telecom. After beginning his career at a non-profit organization, Yash has also worked as a campaign executive on a municipal political campaign and volunteered on multiple provincial political campaigns.

Yash has an undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Guelph as well as a post-graduate diploma in Government Relations (President’s Honour List) from Seneca College.
