Helping children smile with the Nova Scotia Dental Association

NATIONAL was engaged by the Nova Scotia Dental Association (NSDA) in 2016 to develop a campaign to advocate for changes to the province’s Children’s Oral Health Program (COHP). The campaign was intended to be proactive, to inform the public and stakeholders, and to shift policy towards a needs-based model focused on early intervention for children. NATIONAL worked with NSDA to develop a narrative, content, and creative materials, as well as comprehensive government and stakeholder relations efforts. The COHP initiatives resulted in the delivery of training sessions for NSDA’s members and the creation of the annual Oral Health Report. NATIONAL continues to work with NSDA on strategic initiatives related to content development and government relations to push for increased awareness and advocacy for oral health in Nova Scotia.
