Paul Wilson has served as Senior Vice-President at NATIONAL since September 2022, marking a return to the firm where he previously worked from 1988 to 2000 and again from 2010 to 2018. Over the course of his career, he has developed deep expertise in corporate communications and strategic issue management. He currently oversees major client accounts, including Bombardier, PGA Tour, RONA, ArcelorMittal, and METRO.
From 2000 to 2007, Paul was Vice-President, Communications and Public Affairs at Labatt Breweries, where he sat on the Quebec Regional Management Committee. He then joined GPF1 (Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix) from 2007 to 2010 as Vice-President, Marketing and Strategic Planning. In 2018, Paul joined Groupe CH (Montreal Canadiens, Laval Rocket, evenko, and L’Équipe Spectra) as Vice-President, Communications and Public Affairs, where he was responsible for all public affairs activities across the organization and its subsidiaries.
A recognized voice in crisis communications, Paul has authored several op-eds on high-profile issues, including those involving Tiger Woods and Lance Armstrong. He is also frequently sought out by Quebec media for his expert commentary on public relations matters.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McGill University. He also completed a finance program in 2004 and an executive program at Queen’s School of Business in 2002.
