With more than ten years of experience in journalism and public affairs, Gabrielle Proulx has a deep understanding of the Canadian media landscape and the issues that shape public discourse. Her background in federal institutions, major corporations and newsroom environments gives her a unique perspective that she brings to NATIONAL’s clients.
At the firm, she supports executives and teams with their public positioning, strategic communications and government relations. She also delivers tailored communication training, including public speaking and media preparedness. Her approach combines public affairs analysis, journalistic rigour and hands-on field experience.
Before joining NATIONAL, she worked as a reporter for Radio-Canada in Montreal, Trois-Rivières and Saskatoon, covering a wide range of current affairs for both television and radio. She also held several roles within the federal government, including at the Privy Council Office and Global Affairs Canada. Her experience additionally includes working at Bombardier Inc. as a public affairs analyst, as well as an international posting at the Embassy of Canada in Vietnam.
Gabrielle Proulx holds a master’s degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Ottawa and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UQAM.
