Andrea Chiappetta is a strategic communications and public affairs leader with more than 10 years of experience and a proven track record in issues management and media relations. At NATIONAL, Andrea is a trusted advisor to clients and senior executives on public affairs strategy, stakeholder engagement, and communications during high-pressure situations.

Before joining NATIONAL, Andrea was Director of Communications to Ontario’s President of the Treasury Board, where he worked with the Premier’s Office on key government announcements and emerging issues. Previously, Andrea held roles in the Ministries of Infrastructure and Education, where he managed communications for pandemic-related school closures, the redevelopment of Ontario Place, and other major provincial infrastructure projects. Earlier, Andrea also held various roles in the Ottawa and constituency offices of the Member of Parliament for Barrie—Innisfil. 

Andrea holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Toronto, where he specialized in political science and minored in Canadian studies. As a student, he served on the University’s Academic Board, the Arts and Science Faculty Council and the Woodsworth College Students’ Association.
