In response to increasing client interest and demand, NATIONAL Public Relations has established a coronavirus communications team of crisis communications experts across Canada.

Our team has been actively supporting clients and monitoring the outbreak of the coronavirus disease (recently named COVID-19) and, while the public health risk to Canadians remains low, we understand there are a number of challenges associated with the current situation.

We are well positioned to advise companies and healthcare organizations handling confirmed outbreaks, given our expertise in public health and corporate internal and external issues management.

The team will be led by Martin Daraiche, President of NATIONAL Public Relations, and Karen White, Associate Vice President, with support from crisis and healthcare communications experts across the country.

The team can provide strategic counsel on internal and external audience communications, public health messaging, best practice and media training for leaders in the public eye, and collaborating with client teams to help them plan their response.

NATIONAL has a network of crisis communicators across the country and around the world with a breadth of expertise in public health and corporate crisis management that can handle these complex communication challenges.

To learn more about these specialized services, please contact us at coronavirus@national.ca to engage with our rapid response team.
