NATIONAL was engaged by the Medavie Health Foundation in the fall of 2015 to build understanding and champions for its work among employees and beyond. As a not-for-profit organization, it was important that Medavie employees in particular felt pride in the amazing health outcomes the Foundation supports. NATIONAL developed a new narrative for the brand, “A Different Kind of Healthcare”, highlighting the Foundation’s perspective and big picture thinking. Healthcare isn’t only in the doctor’s office and can look a little different than we might expect. It can be in homes and communities across the country. To capture our narrative and share it with over 6,000 employees (in both English and French), we developed a community investment report and video series that focused on the stories of real impact the Foundation has had through the grants and funding they provide in communities where employees and clients live and work. Since 2016, stories and visuals from the report have been used across the organization and remains in the forefront of all the Foundation’s branding.
