The challenge

For today’s families, the internet powers homework, gaming, streaming and social connection—but as homes become more connected, parents feel less in control. At the same time, online threats are growing more sophisticated and more common. Eastlink had a powerful but little-known advantage. It’s the only provider to include free WiFi security as part of its home internet offering, protecting families from day one.

The insight

Parents don’t want to micromanage every digital interaction. They don’t want to buy additional products or navigate complicated setup processes. What they want is confidence.

If Eastlink could reframe online protection as something already working, already handled behind-the-scenes, it could replace panic with calm.

The idea: “They will click that link.”

We built the platform around a simple strategic principle: show families that online security is simple, silent and already working. Instead of warning parents about what might happen, we acknowledged what will happen: kids will click. This approach shifted the conversation from threat detection to everyday confidence. By acknowledging reality rather than resisting it, the campaign replaced fear with reassurance.

The impact

The campaign reframed internet security from a technical add-on into an emotional benefit. By creating a message that resonates with parents, we elevated Eastlink's WiFi security offering to demonstrate that protection doesn't need to be complicated. In a category defined by alarm, Eastlink delivers a calming confidence and a meaningful differentiator.
