Market Movers: Breaking ground—the future of infrastructure investment in Canada

Join us for a special evening with the leaders of the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB). This is an opportunity to learn more about the CIB and hear directly from Pierre Lavallée, CEO, and Nick Hann, Head of Investments. Pierre and Nick will discuss the CIB’s investment priorities and approach to stimulate new investment that helps to tackle the country’s estimated $1 trillion infrastructure deficit through private and public sector partnerships.

The CIB was created in 2017 by the federal government to leverage private and institutional infrastructure investment and attract much-needed investment for new transportation, transit, green and broadband infrastructure. The CIB is a new tool for federal investment in cooperation with private investors and public sector sponsors across the country.

The panel will be moderated by Drew Fagan, Senior Advisor to NATIONAL Public Relations and former Deputy Minister of Infrastructure for the Government of Ontario. He currently is a professor at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, University of Toronto.

By invitation only
