Canada is the second country in the world to legalize cannabis for recreational purposes, creating an exciting new growth sector in the Canadian economy. However, even as this growing industry steps out of the shadows, some key policy questions remain unanswered. Join the Canadian Chamber of Commerce for a roundtable discussion focused on addressing some of the most pressing public policy—and business—questions facing the industry.

During the roundtable, we will discuss packaging and marketing restrictions and the development of edibles and concentrates regulations with the objective of developing a Chamber policy paper to provide recommendations to the federal government. We will also discuss some of the broader economic and policy issues facing the cannabis industry including the linkages to other sectors of the economy.
