On August 20, NATIONAL's Young Professionals Committee, whose mission is to foster mentoring, networking and training for the next generation of leaders in our industry and within our Firm, held its first-ever networking happy hour in Montreal. And what a great evening it was!
Over sixty young professionals from a wide range of backgrounds and sectors gathered in our Montreal office to meet and exchange ideas, all in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The informal setting and spontaneous discussions helped them gain a better understanding of the realities faced by up-and-coming professionals in different fields, and to forge more human connections. After all, expertise and experience are best shared face-to-face.
The evening was marked by rich and stimulating exchanges, and demonstrated the full value of the committee's project to create a space for young professionals to meet. This type of initiative not only helps to build and strengthen solid business networks, but also develops relationships of trust and encourage the sharing of knowledge and experience between peers.
Martin Daraiche, President of NATIONAL and Managing Partner of the Montreal office, addressed our guests to underline the importance of the moment, encourage the next generation of professionals and congratulate the committee on the evening's success.
Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of all guests and the remarkable commitment of the organizing committee, this first edition was a real success. It just goes to show that sometimes a simple concept can create great moments. We would like to thank everyone who attended and we hope to continue consolidating this network of future leaders by organizing similar events in the future.
