NATIONAL Public Relations is pleased to announce the addition of three senior employees bolstering its digital advocacy and public affairs offering across Western Canada.

Jason Craik, director, Digital and Integrated Communications previously worked as an issues manager for the Government of B.C., where he was responsible for developing and coordinating all internal and external communications products for various government ministries and advised the Premier on issues mitigation and messaging, and prepared various Ministers for question period, events, and media availabilities. During his time with the Government of B.C., he also served as advisor to the Minister of Agriculture. Jason has worked on campaigns at all three levels of government, in various roles, including as part of the central campaign team for the BC NDP in the last provincial election, where the party managed to secure the second largest majority in the province’s history.

Chloé Letellier, senior consultant, Digital and Integrated Communications brings a wealth of digital proficiency from agency and client roles. A digital advertising expert with extensive paid social media and story-telling skills, her expertise in lead generation, content creation, and reputation management has been honed through past agency roles and internships in marketing strategy and business development at ESPA UK and Asbestostrip Innovations in the United Kingdom. She is fluent in French and holds a Master’s in International Marketing from France’s Rennes School of Business and studied Business Administration at the University of the Free State, South Africa.

Blaise Boehmer, director, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, joins NATIONAL after two years as a press secretary for the Government of Alberta. During this time, Blaise played a senior role in various Government of Alberta Ministers’ offices, including with the Minister of Jobs, Employment and Innovation, and the Minister of Justice and Solicitor General. Prior to this, Blaise developed his expertise in corporate communications and government relations through numerous projects at the federal and provincial level in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, in addition to projects with major Canadian and multinational corporations like Disney, HBO, Amazon, Tim Hortons, Enbridge, Sundial Growers, Trans-Northern Pipelines and Uber.

“The addition of these professionals contributes significant bench strength to NATIONAL’s pan-Canadian public affairs and corporate communications teams” says Lorèn Lailey-Irvine, managing partner of NATIONAL’s Vancouver and Calgary offices. “Our unique agency approach which gathers our best minds from across the country into a single client team, allows us to provide the most comprehensive thought leadership for our clients in their regional or nation-wide conversations.”
