Max is an Associate in NATIONAL Public Relations’ Public Affairs and Corporate Communications groups. He assists in the creation and implementation of comprehensive communication strategies which serve the diverse needs of the practice’s clients. Max has broad experience in the field, specifically from politics, which profoundly inform his methods and approaches. Additionally, this background entrenched his detail oriented nature and honed his ability to operate in fast-paced environments – always while ensuring quality and accuracy.
Prior to joining NATIONAL Public Relations, Max spent many sleepless nights as a Communications Assistant within Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada’s 42nd general election campaign war room. There, he executed media relations and brand management activities as part of a small team tasked with connecting local campaigns to the central office.
In his free time, Max supports The 519 and Forum for Young Canadians – the flagship program of The Foundation for the Study of Processes of Government in Canada. For the past three years as a Logistics Assistant, he ensured student programming flowed unhitched, helping the organization meet its objectives of bolstering Canadian citizenship within the next generation of leaders.
Max earned his Honours Bachelor of Arts from Victoria College at the University of Toronto, where he double majored in Canadian and Peace, Conflict, and Justice Studies – the latter a program of the Trudeau Centre at the Munk School of Global Affairs.
