Chris Froggatt has an impressive 22-year record of success in Ottawa and at the Ontario Legislature at Queen's Park. Prior to joining NATIONAL, he served as chief of staff to the Honourable John Baird in a variety of departments including Treasury Board, Environment and Transport, Infrastructure and Communities. Chris was also senior advisor to the minister of Transportation and the Attorney General in Ontario and a senior advisor to Preston Manning when he was leader of the Opposition.
Chris is an expert in developing crisis and issue management strategies and provides media and presentation training for many individuals and organizations in both the private and public sectors. He has also been a frequent commentator with various news organizations including CTV, CBC, Maclean's, The Globe and Mail, The Hill Times, CFRA, and CPAC TV. Chris is a member of the board of directors for the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS), a member of the Government Relations Institute of Canada (GRIC) and a member of the advisory committee for the Salvation Army of the National Capital Region. Chris is also the recipient of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal for his commitment to his community and to Canada.
