NATIONAL helped TransLink to provide strategic advice and event planning for all aspects of the Evergreen Extension of the Millennium Line’s launch. NATIONAL developed a comprehensive communications strategy and handled all logistics for the community celebration, media relations and management of volunteers. On December 2, 2016, the Evergreen Extension of the Millennium Line launched with a media ribbon-cutting event attended by the Premier and TransLink officials. This was followed by a festive, family-friendly community celebration. The event attracted major media coverage. In the first few days of the line being open, there were 45,000 seats filled on the Evergreen Line.
