NATIONAL's Vancouver office is proud to announce the appointment of Jillian Stead as Director of Digital and Marketing Technology. She will be part of NATIONAL’s network-wide Marketing Technology group to help clients thrive in a digital world through technology-based, data-driven solutions that take the guesswork out of marketing communications.
A former producer and reporter for CBC News with both agency and in-house experience leading complex digital projects, Jillian brings a diverse skillset to the NATIONAL team. As a senior digital and communications advisor in BC’s political arena from 2014-2017, she was responsible for engaging a diverse electorate across a multitude of issues and channels. No stranger to high-profile media and communications strategies, Jillian led the planning and delivery of large-scale marketing and engagement programs for BC’s incumbent political party and premier, including digital content production, professional social media management, and paid digital media buying with a focus on creative video placement.
In 2017, she joined a Vancouver agency as a consultant with a mandate to grow the company’s digital offering in the B2B and B2C spaces, while also providing strategic digital communications counsel to her own clients in the fields of local government and health technology.
