Our Atlantic team is growing and we are looking for a Talent Management Coordinator to bring out the best in our team and effectively implement HR policies and programs to ensure we have the best people ready to do the best work. This role will also coordinate our talent recruitment efforts, as well as support opportunities for co-op students across different programs.

Overview

As our Talent Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with the management and implementation of policies, programs and operational execution that help further our organizational objectives, and support our fast-pace, collaborative and supportive team.

Responsibilities

Recruitment:

  • Collaborate to identify needs and preferred profile and qualifications
  • Oversee recruitment, hiring process, onboarding program, and administrative steps
  • Interview applicants about their experience, education, and skills
  • Oversee Intern program – post secondary institution relationships and onboarding process

Talent development:

  • Foster the learning culture
  • Support Diversity and Inclusion programs
  • Support coaching and mentorship programs
  • Provide coaching to team members and share skills, knowledge, and expertise
  • Support the review process for consistent performance reviews
  • Exemplify and foster an environment of teamwork and cooperation

Operational administration:

  • Execute HR onboarding steps to ensure a good employee experience
  • Coordinate Occupational Health and Safety requirements
  • Prepare and maintain talent management records, including employee records, performance reviews, absence management and learning development tracking
  • Prepare team communication on human resource initiatives
  • Administrative support to NATIONAL company initiatives

Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business administration or organizational development
  • Minimum of three-years progressive experience in a talent role
  • Innovative problem solver and excellent team player
  • Strong analytical skills and adept at working within new technologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
  • Consulting firm experience a benefit
  • Certification in Human Resources considered an asset
