Reporting to the President of NATIONAL Public Relations, the Managing Partner provides strategic leadership to colleagues and clients in the Toronto office. A communications visionary, the Managing Partner is responsible for the overall leadership of the Toronto office working in collaboration with a talented senior leadership team (SLT) and consulting with and supporting colleagues across the network to bring the best and brightest people and strategies together. The Managing Partner sets the tone for the office and is proactive about understanding and being part of the major business, civic and social developments of our time. They are focused on delivering exceptional results for clients, seizing growth opportunities for the team and ensuring business and organizations are taking a fully integrated approach to communications. The Managing Partner joins an exceptional team of seasoned advisors in Toronto with depth in corporate communications, investor relations, public affairs, consumer marketing, technology, healthcare, and capital markets.
The successful candidate has a degree in business, communications/public relations, or a related discipline, and has at least 10-years’ experience in a senior leadership role. They have a track record of successfully leading and growing a successful business and in developing teams. Experience working in a professional services firm, an agency, and/or in a senior communications leadership position with the proven success of leading a large team within a competitive market is preferred. The successful candidate has overall operations management experience including oversight of strategy, business development, finance and human resources.
