A sociology and political science graduate of the University of Ottawa, Serge Paquette has worked in communications for more than 30 years. His clients draw on his extensive, solid experience in communications and politics and his in-depth knowledge of influential networks to address their positioning issues and public relations needs.    He joined the firm in January 2005 as Senior Vice-President, Public Affairs, shortly after NATIONAL acquired his company, a public relations firm he founded in the early 1990s. From January 2009 to June 2023, Serge was Managing Partner of the Montreal office of NATIONAL Public Relations. He now acts as senior advisor and partner.    Over the course of his career, Serge has completed numerous public relations and communications assignments and orchestrated major events. An insightful manager, he is noted for the inspiring leadership he provides to his teams, his high-quality analysis of issues and his strong aptitude for identifying and implementing innovative, timely and effective solutions.    Serge Paquette is a very active member of his community. Over the years, he has played an ongoing role in the success of numerous fund-raising activities for a variety of organizations and has served on several boards of directors.
