Rachel Lee is passionate about strategic communications, media relations and crafting engaging narratives and brands for clients including the Nuclear Waste Management Organization, Shred-it, WisdomTree Asset Management, Region of Peel and TEDxToronto.
Over the past 6 years, Rachel has been working in newsrooms in Canada and in Asia. Previously, as the Chief Reporter for an investing and finance news portal based in Toronto, she has interviewed hundreds of CEO’s, fund managers, analysts and financiers. Her passion to ask questions and getting answers rages strong in the world of public relations.
She is also currently the Co-Host of New Canadians, a national web and television show in its fourth season on various OMNI channels across Canada. In addition, she is a regular moderator and host for panels organized by ACCES Employment, York University’s Entrepreneurship Program, and the Immigrant Business Expo.
Rachel is also committed to travelling with a purpose—she’s been in over 25 countries with thoughtful and achievable goals to work, study and play. On a daily basis, Rachel can be seen running, practicing yoga (she’s completed her teacher certification just this year), or reading and talking about news around the world that concerns her.
Rachel is a proud and award-winning alum from the renowned Radio and Television Arts program at Ryerson University.
