Nancy brings over 15 years of communications and public affairs experience to NATIONAL. With knowledge of both government and not-for-profit sectors, Nancy works closely with executives to simplify complex issues and provide thoughtful strategies to accomplish difficult objectives.
Prior to joining NATIONAL, Nancy spent a decade leading strategic communications for the Ontario Medical Association (OMA). She’s worn healthcare, crisis, member and stakeholder relations, corporate communications, and public affairs and advocacy hats, supporting the association through an unpredictable period of crisis after multiple failed contract negotiations with the government and complete membership upheaval. With a passion for storytelling, Nancy worked to elevate the physician brand, promoting their value through advertising and marketing communications, expanding public reach through the use of integrated channels.
Nancy also spent a number of years working as political staff at Queen’s Park with the Minister of the Environment and the Minister of Education. She is a graduate of Western University with an Honours, Bachelor of Arts and Ryerson’s Public Relations Program.
