Marilie Beaulieu-Gravel is a senior consultant with NATIONAL’s Public Affairs group. Since joining the Firm in 2013, Marilie has worked on a variety of assignments and participated in developing and implementing communications and government relations plans. She coordinates and organizes clients’ activities and supports them in their efforts with elected officials. She excels at organizing theme days aimed at raising awareness among MPs and MNAs, and contributes to developing arguments for targeted influencers or the media.
Before joining NATIONAL, Marilie worked as a political attaché for a member of the National Assembly. Prior to this, she was the Finance Minister’s press secretary, where her duties included serving as the Minister’s spokesperson, presenting complex issues to the national and regional media in Quebec.
With a bachelor’s degree in communications and political science from the Université de Montréal, Marilie is well acquainted with the workings of government communications and the political process. She is also skilled at summarizing issues, a necessary part of effective communications with the media.
Marilie has worked on a number of public affairs mandates involving crisis management in a broad range of industries and sectors. She has supported such organizations as the Association des microbiologistes du Québec, the Ordre des Chimistes du Québec, Concordia University, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, TechnoMontréal, Ericsson, WB Games Montreal and the Regroupement des cabinets de courtage d’assurance du Québec.
