Jean-Pascal has worked, among other things, as a journalist for Le Soleil, an advisor in the office of the Associate Secretary and Chief Information Officer at the Quebec’s Treasury Board Secretariat, and a media relations and public affairs consultant for a major insurance and financial services company.
In this last position, he was responsible for handling a number of strategically important projects related to both the company's reputation and development. He developed and carried out communication strategies in times of crisis, during mergers and acquisitions and during a major strategic shift impacting all sectors of the company.
Over his career, Jean-Pascal has gained extensive knowledge of the insurance and financial services sector, the world of media and Quebec's administrative apparatus.
Holder of a bachelor's degree in political science anda certificate in economics from Université Laval, he is interested in all subjects likely to make the news.
