With a long professional track record in which he developed proven communications and public relations expertise, Éric Duguay joined the Public Affairs team at NATIONAL Public Relations in 2013. He has since established himself as a trusted advisor in the Aboriginal Affairs team where he is often the first point of contact to business and community leaders, municipal managers, and Aboriginal leaders on complex internal and external communications issues including forestry and mining.
Eric holds a bachelor's degree in public relations, applied communications, and philanthropic management from the Université de Montréal. He also holds a diploma in technical documentation. He volunteers for various causes, including the Nikanik Nit Ici Matcan Foundation (Walk towards my Future) whose mission is to support the families of children from the Atikamekw communities with preventive and educational measures; he is also a member of an ethics committee for a research laboratory dedicated to biotechnology and medical device design.
