Emily Rowan joins the Ottawa NATIONAL office as Director, Public Affairs.

Emily spent the last five years as the national Government Relations Specialist at Engineers Canada, advocating for diverse files, including the need for climate vulnerability assessments to be conditions for federal infrastructure projects, increased representation of women in the engineering profession, and essential infrastructure investments in rural and remote communities.

Emily also has previous experience as an Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves, Cadet Instructor Cadre.

Emily holds a Master’s of Political Management from Carleton University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Studies from Queen’s University.
