All NATIONAL employees are eligible for group health insurance benefits available through RES PUBLICA Consulting Group's plan. Our coverage provides extended health insurance, including prescription and dental coverage, short-and long-term disability, as well as life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.
NATIONAL offers its employees three weeks of vacation after five years of service, four weeks after 10 years and five weeks after 15 years. Additionally, workload permitting, employees have time off between Christmas and New Year's Day. NATIONAL employees also have access to a bank of personal days.
Personal Leave of Absence
NATIONAL recognizes its committed staff. After five years of service, employees have the opportunity to apply for a personal leave of absence of up to four weeks. This leave can be used for additional vacation time or for personal reasons such as a community project or external professional development. NATIONAL will pay half of regular salary during the leave.
Flexible Wellness Program
After a year of employment, NATIONAL will help offset a portion of fees in one of seven categories: fitness; health-related programs, such as weight management or smoking cessation; daycare and elder care expenses; language and personal interest courses; professional services, such as tax preparation or estate planning; green living, such as public transportation passes or compost/recycling bins; and professional membership dues.
NATIONAL encourages its offices and employees to undertake pro bono work for not-for-profit organizations and projects that align with the Firm's culture and corporate responsibility policy.
