As a Traffic Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling for team members, assigning and overseeing creative and digital projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible, with support, to ensure each part of the project moves according to schedule and is completed on time and within budget, encouraging collaboration between different staff in different departments. 

You will be expected to lead people and teams under tight deadlines and will need to be cool under pressure. You should be a people-person, as much of your daily duties will revolve around interaction and problem solving with different members of each department.


Traditional Traffic

  • Responsible for managing the daily schedules (freelancers and creative production staff) and assessing the strengths of each staff member, assigning work accordingly
  • Provide colleagues with information on deadline requirements, unique project needs, liaise with account managers to discuss setbacks in schedule or processes, recommending changes and improvements where necessary, improving processes and cost-efficiency
  • Support quality assurance under advisement from the Manager, Production and Quality Assurance: proofreading, managing, and reviewing client/internal revisions for accuracy, checking work against brand guidelines and creative brief


Digital Traffic:

  • Responsible for managing the daily schedules of the digital team including responding to digital tickets, discussing time requirements with team members, assessing strengths of each staff member and assigning work accordingly
  • Managing small digital projects from start to finish under advisement from the Digital Consultant including creating workback schedules, user-experience, and technical briefs
  • Assist with developing scoping memos for digital projects under advisement from the Digital Consultant
  • Content entry on a variety of platform and small website updates
  • Supporting quality assurance of web projects through browser testing and other various methods



  • A post-secondary degree in the field of advertising, marketing, public relations or another related field
  • 2 years of related experience (agency or otherwise) in traffic management, project management or digital project management
  • Extremely organized and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Familiarity, knowledge, and/or understanding of website development and/or content management systems
  • Google Analytics certification will be considered an asset
  • Displays excellent communication skills with coworkers, including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure, while keeping team in the loop
