Beth Diamond has nearly 30 years’ experience in communications, including post-secondary teaching, corporate communications and private consulting. She has spent her career in Calgary. Beth is the founding partner of NATIONAL’s Calgary office.
Beth leads NATIONAL’s Energy Practice and is a trusted advisor to many of Calgary’s senior oil and gas executives. Her current client list includes many of Canada’s leading energy companies including Enbridge, Nexen, TransAlta and Alliance Pipeline. Beth also provides senior counsel to energy industry associations including the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers and the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association.
Actively involved in generating ideas on energy policy, Beth was a driving force behind the creation of the Energy Policy Institute of Canada (EPIC). Her firm also created and administered the Canadian Centre for Energy Information; which provided objective, bias-balanced information to Canadian, U.S. and international audiences on the energy industry. Most recently, she is supporting the Conference Board of Canada’s Transition Energy Initiative.
Beth is a convener and coalition builder, bringing together multi-stakeholder groups on important issues for multiple sectors. She has worked with both Calgary Economic Development and a variety of Chambers of Commerce across Canada.
