Gareth Morrell

Director

Gareth joined Madano in September 2014 as a Research Director and leads the Research practice. Prior to joining Gareth was of health, social attitudes and environment teams at NatCen Social Research. He spent six years at NatCen leading a range of high profile and complex research and evaluation studies for UK government departments, including research on the London riots for the Cabinet Office, and a series of evaluations of energy policy for DECC.

Gareth is a qualitative research expert having taught and written widely on qualitative methods and analysis and has an interest in the analysis of social media data having been a co-founder of the ESRC-funded network nsmnss.blogspot.com/.

Earlier in his career Gareth was a researcher at King’s College London and City University studying asylum and refugees.
