On Wednesday, August 27, our Toronto office’s Marketing Communications team helped Ford Motor Company of Canada launch its new, limited edition t-shirt collection Mustang Unleashed to top tier Canadian fashion and lifestyle media, with an exclusive trunk show held at The Hazelton Hotel in Yorkville.
Featuring designs by five renowned fashion innovators from around the world (Anna Sui, Rogan, Paula Cademartori, CO|TE and Pamela Love), the new collection features 15 unique graphic shirts, each inspired by the Ford Mustang in celebration of the iconic car’s 50th anniversary this year.
The team invited fashion media to The Hazelton Hotel for a special preview of the collection and the opportunity for an interview with NYC-based fashion designer Scott Mackinlay-Hahn of Rogan and Loomstate. Guests were treated to an exclusive sneak peak and private walkthrough of the capsule collection by the designer, as he shared his personal connection to the Mustang and his positive experience working with Ford on the collection. Media representatives were also invited to be the first in Canada to pre-order their very own Mustang Unleashed t-shirt online (available exclusively at Gilt.com).
Guests were also pampered with a “Mustang Mani’”, courtesy of Tips Nail Bar manicurists. This luxurious touch highlighted another of Ford Motor Company’s 50th anniversary collaborations – a limited edition nail polish collection for Mustang by OPI.
Congratulations to the Toronto Marketing Communications team of Josh Norton, Alison Crocker and Andrew Gouveia for hosting this stylish affair that successfully fused the two worlds of fashion and automotive and generated a huge buzz around the event. The October issue of ELLE Canada even features a full page dedicated to the Mustang Unleashed designer shirt collection!
