John Parisella, Senior Advisor, Strategy and Business Outreach in the Montreal office, was named a Member of the Order of Canada during a ceremony at the end of August. John was conferred this prestigious honour “for his social, political, diplomatic and academic engagement and for his dedication to major governance issues.”
John joined NATIONAL’s Montreal office in January, 2017 and is well known and respected in Quebec. Over the course of his extensive career, he has held numerous positions in the public sphere, including chief of staff for Quebec premiers, author, business manager, political analyst, and also served as Quebec’s delegate general in New York City. More recently, he was executive director of the major fundraising campaign for HEC Montréal, Polytechnique Montréal and Université de Montréal (Campus Montréal). John was named an Officer of the Ordre national du Québec in 2016.
