Good news and prestigious recognition keep coming in for Kiss IPF Goodbye, a movement that is breathing life into the fight against IPF, a rare and fatal lung disease. The campaign, which has already been lauded with a Gold SABRE Canadian Campaign of the Year Award, a CPRS Toronto ACE Award and an OVATION IABC-Toronto Award of Merit, has now earned a prestigious Gold Quill Award of Excellence from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
The Gold Quill Awards program recognizes business communication excellence globally, and is acknowledged as one of the most prestigious awards programs in the industry.
“Since launching in 2014, the Kiss IPF Goodbye campaign has helped not only to spread awareness of this rare and incurable disease, but also has helped to offer hope to patients living with IPF or recently diagnosed. The campaign has successfully helped to educate patients, as well as the general public about the symptoms of IPF and the availability of newer treatment options which may help to prolong and improve the lives of patients as well as reduce symptoms. As an organization committed to solutions for respiratory health, it is our aim to provide awareness and education for patients living with diseases like IPF,” said Bronwyn Lewis, National Specialty Manger, IPF, Boehringer Ingelheim (Canada) Ltd.
Congratulations to the NATIONAL team who worked on this important project: Joanna Wilson, Carolyn Santillan, Natalie Dyck and Natasha Bailey.
