We’re happy to announce that Antonia Katsambis has joined AXON as Human Resources (HR) Director in London. She brings 10 years of talent management expertise to the Firm, having worked at different agencies within the media sector, including most recently at Edelman.

Antonia will lead HR-related initiatives for AXON and sister agency Madano, both of which have experienced steady growth in 2017.

“We’re delighted we will be able to benefit from Antonia’s experience at both large communications firms and small boutique agencies, as we see ourselves as combining the best of both of those worlds,” said Miranda Dini, Managing Partner for AXON. “Antonia is supporting our continued growth with a fresh approach around recruiting and retaining the industry’s top talent.”

The addition of Antonia reflects another highly successful year for AXON and Madano, which have steadily expanded their teams with a number of notable hires, whilst also boasting impressive staff retention rates. In her role as HR Director, Antonia will be responsible for continuing this momentum, with a focus on matching the right people to the right role and ensuring the two agencies remain on the cutting edge with their talent retention initiatives.

“I’m thrilled to be joining at what is a really exciting time for AXON and Madano,” said Antonia.
“I look forward to seeking out the best and brightest to join our vibrant team, while at the same time continuing to nurture and support the existing staff.”

PR Week recently described AXON as the industry’s “best kept secret”, and the Firm was recently awarded Highly Commended Communications Team of the Year by PharmaTimes, and was shortlisted by PRCA for a Corporate Social Responsibility national award for ongoing work with the Global Salmon Initiative.
