Quebec Bar Crisis Highlights Public Image Vulnerability

Ever since the July 1 suspension of its newly-elected head Lu Chan Khuong, the Quebec Bar is facing a crisis of unprecedented proportions. And no matter who wins the final round of this highly publicized battle, it is clear that all parties involved will come out of this situation with a tainted image and weakened credibility.

In an op-ed published on the Infopresse website, our colleague and NATIONAL partner Paul Wilson looks back on the events from a public relations perspective. Stressing the importance of a quick resolution, Paul also explains why the Bar members’ solidarity with the decision will be crucial in minimizing the damage done to its public image.
