Suzanne is a senior consultant within NATIONAL’s Corporate Communications practice, where she helps organizations build and strengthen relationships with target audiences through data-driven communication programs and strategic media relations. Her extensive and varied expertise include executive communications and thought leadership, reputation management, and financial communications.
Prior to joining NATIONAL, Suzanne spent eight years as a senior marketing and communications advisor with Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI) - the province’s economic development agency where she developed strategies to help homegrown businesses reach new audiences in export target markets. In addition, she worked to build global awareness around investment opportunities in the province within the financial services, technology, interactive media, and life sciences industry. She successfully worked alongside a team to secure IBM’s first Canadian Services Centre to the province and investment from other companies including the Royal Bank of Canada, Ubisoft, Citco Fund Services, and NTT Data.
Suzanne holds a Master of Liberal Arts, Extension Studies from Harvard University, Bachelor of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Dalhousie University.
